Strategy, reliability, defect elimination, SAP PM. We build, not just advise.
NJN Consulting works with mining, mineral processing, and heavy industrial sites that want to move from reactive maintenance to top-quartile reliability. Our engagements are deliberately practical — short, structured, outcome-driven. We bring the framework, the tools, and the experience. You bring the operation, the people, and the willingness to change how things get done.
A structured diagnostic of your AM operating model, governance, and maturity. We run the NJN Maturity Audit with your team, present findings to leadership, and produce a 90-day improvement roadmap.
We help you stand up an in-house RE function — from job design and recruitment briefs through to first-90-days plans, methodology training, and integration into the work management cycle.
Living FMECA workshops on Class A assets. SAE JA1011/JA1012 compliant. Output: documented tactic decisions linked to failure modes, ready to load into SAP PM.
Stand up a structured DE programme: bad actor methodology, RCA toolkit and training, DE Management Team formation. Self-funding within 12 months on most operations.
Asset hierarchy design, PM01/PM02/PM03/PM04 work order discipline, criticality coding, planning quality, and CMMS data integrity. For larger SAP rollouts we bring in dedicated SAP PM specialists from our associate network.
Custom workshops on the eight-pillar framework, RCM, FMECA, DE methodology, KPI literacy, or any specific pillar. Half-day to multi-day formats. Virtual or on-site.
For any engagement that requires a consultant to travel to your site, the following are billable to the client at cost, in addition to the engagement fee:
Flights, ground transport, and any in-country transfers required to reach the site.
Including expedited fees where required by client timing or short-notice scheduling.
Hotel of comparable standard for senior personnel, booked for the duration of the on-site engagement.
Meals and incidentals at standard rates for the consultant's working days on site.
For any single journey exceeding 12 hours total transit time (door to door), the consultant will travel Business Class.
This protects the consultant's ability to start productive work the day after arrival rather than losing a day to recovery — and is standard practice for senior consulting engagements at this distance.
Transparent pricing. All travel costs are passed through at cost with receipts — no markup is added. Estimates are provided in writing before any travel is booked, and require client approval. Costs vary significantly by region; a typical week-long on-site engagement adds $3,000–8,000 in travel and accommodation depending on origin and destination.
